VATER Nude Series 5A Nylon

Since 2016 I have used Vater Percussion products, playing the drums for as long as I can remember and over the years I've played many shows using all different kinds of drumsticks some lacquered and some unlacquered like these. After being influenced by some great drummers, who I consider my heroes, they all turned to Vater Percussion which is something I thought I would try out.

As they say the drumsticks are the connection from you to your instrument, I found my perfect pair in 2016. This non lacquered unfinished stick provides total grip to those who who have suffered from stick slippage during live shows which can be a bit of a pain, meaning you'll have to quickly grab a spare backup from your stick bag. This stick is also heavier towards the nylon finished tips which makes for powerful attacks on the drums when needed and I find doesn't require too much effort on action which gives your wrists less work to do.

I would highly recommend the 5A Nylon variety as it decreases your chances of the end of the sticks becoming chipped and cracked like with regular wood tip. Different size sticks are required depending on the styles you are preforming; so for more rock and pop style playing I would highly recommend 5A size drumsticks.

Ultimately, I would highly recommend these Vater Percussion sticks as I don't think I have ever used a pair of drumsticks better suited to myself and like using these sticks the most.
